As my family grows
I'll add more beautiful brides and handsome grooms
to this post.
And I hope to dance at everyone of their 50th Anniversaries! Yeah, right.

ORIGINAL POST:
I wasn't  too sure where this post was going
when I began writing this morning.
But I've been drawn into the
pageantry and beauty of
The Royal Wedding.
3 a.m. on the couch with blanket and pillow and hot minty tea

"William and Kate
the future King and Queen of England"

They're the same generation as
my Brides and Grooms.
I turned the  t.v. on to watch the nuptuals at 3:15 a.m.
and missed Kate's longgggggggg walk down the aisle.
I got in on the pageantry just as she was meeting her
"Prince Charming" at the altar.
If Kate and her Father had taken a wrong turn walking down the longgggg aisle,
they'd still be trying to find them in that
vast cathedral .... is it called a cathedral in England?
..................................
I'll keep adding to my blog,
adding the photographs of the rest of my
"prince and princesses",
photos of
those yet to be married,
and those who have been married but are no longer.
Doesn't this sound just like your family?
Your family may have more or less relatives,
be more or less colorful than mine,
love and care for you a little more or less
than I'm loved..

Now let me think ... where did I put the Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren's
photos? It has to be in one of those ....
shoeboxes ....
maybe on the top shelf in my closet ....
I'll find them.
Not too easy to misplace shoeboxes overflowing with
photos of the people I love
..............................
In the meantime,
Here's a list of suggestions - of which
nobody asked me for a list of suggestions -

"A Happy Wife is a Happy Life"        and

"A Little Fishing, Hunting, and Playing
Will Keep A Hubby Staying"
......................................

"All together now .... PUSH! Row, row, row!"
And the wife standing on shore yells,
"No dear ... I think I want it
over there by the rocks instead."
And the good husband says,
"Yes dear."
.........................

If he wants to be a sailor
LET him be a sailor.
Just don't EVER let him
untie from the
dock!
............................

A happy wife is a happy life.
Build her a greenhouse,
rototill her garden space,
haul pick-up loads of manure and compost and
whatever she asks for .....
then just step back and let her grow!
That's a win-win situation!

 Wives .... with your husbands
 visit our nation's war memorials,
tomb of the Unknown Soldier,
Arlington National Cemetary,
then hug him close and tell him how much
you love him.

Tell your wife,
"You look especially beautiful this morning,
dear!"
And if you sound like you mean it,
she might not mind  if you
hang out on the couch all day watching the Seahawks
beat .... whoever they may be playing.

Grandpas and Dads
love your daughters, and granddaughters AND daughters-in-law.
They will be a joy to you when you're young,
the mothers of your grandbabies in your middle years,
and your caregiver when you are old.

Accept his flowers...
any kind any kind of flowers,
anywhere he finds one to pick for you,
and let him
put it in your hair.
.......................................

If she wants a little red scooter,
let her buy a little red scooter.
Just be sure to tell her she can never,
ever
under any circumstances
make left hand turns!
................................................

Golden gems
of good advice,
which nobody
 asked for,
and may not
pay attention to!
But they can't say I didn't
warn 'em!

NOT   THE    END!
